Just like to tell you that we had a Blast!! cabin was excellent, fishing is awesome! I'm sure will be back next year,you guys really made us feel at home. our guide leonard was great he really put us on the fish. hope you post the pictures of the nice fish Jeff and I caught for everyone to see .. It was nice to see you and your family again. I just want to tell everyone thinking on staying at WestBay to sign up today. The fishing is phenomenal! It is better then any Canadian fishing trip I have been on, not only can you bring more fish home to enjoy, you can also bring enough adult refreshments to satisfy yourself and my thirsty brothers and friends. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality. We have booked our annual trip once again to this fine resort. On behalf of the original charter members thank you for another great fishing and resort experience. See you soon!

HAD A GREAT TIME THIS PAST WEEKEND ALTHOUGH IT WAS SHORT YOUR RESORT IS EXCELLENT. EVERYONE VERY FRIENDLY. THE FISHING IS AWESOME ON DEVILS LAKE. WE INJOYED MEETING ALL THE OTHER GUESTS. Just wanted to send you a quick e-mail and let you know that we enjoyed ourselves tremendously at your little Shangri-La!!!!!! Your hospitality was second to none!!!!! he cabins are really nice and your personal touch was unique and appreciated. (We stayed in the "Honeymoon" cabin, and the "bear-theme" was a very nice personal touch)!!!!!! Everything that you could ask for was there and waiting for us. Our party of 13 guys really enjoyed our stay at West Bay Resort. The cabins were excellent and were equiped well for the needs of a large party. From large freezers in each cabin to store our catch of the day, to plenty of cooking utensels for us to cook up several big fish fries. Diane & Jim were vertually available day and night to take care of any needs that we had. The private boat launch & dock area made for easy in and out access to the lake. The fishing was excellent! Some of us limited out on walleye the first day and came close on the other days. The action on northers was unlimited. Most being caught in the 24" to 28" range and some at 30", 32", and 36" Our groups opinion was that they have never experianced the kind of fight we got from the numerous northerns we caught. The White Bass were hiting also. I'm told we caught what they call Whoppers! Two were 3.6 lbs and several right at 3 lbs. The combination of an excellent place to stay, excellent people, and excellent fishing is why we will be back to do this again.

We all had a wonderful time at the resort. Clean and new cabins with everything we needed for a rain soaked weekend we still had a good time. I enjoyed the fact that we didn't have to lock anything up, or worry about anything in our cabin. Very peaceful and quiet. Plan to return soon when the sun will cooperate.
